Manufacturing and Automation Technology

Casper College’s Manufacturing Technology degree and certificate programs focus on high-tech manufacturing in the areas of laser manufacturing equipment, manual and computer-aided machine tool technology, and welding.

What are the features of Casper’s program?

Manufacturing tech graduates are well prepared to set up and operate laser equipment, machine tools such as lathes, mills and grinders, and specialized welding equipment to manufacture or repair precision parts and products.

This career may also include CNC programmers who write the computer program that operates automated machines. Students graduating from this program can work in small family-owned shops or at large manufacturing facilities.

Although this is an A.A.S. degree, graduates from this program may apply this degree toward an online applied science degree at the University of Wyoming at Casper.
