Whether you’re looking to pursue a career in sports and fitness, healthcare, or expand your skills into coaching and personal training, Casper College offers a comprehensive and hands-on program for both new students and those already working in a professional role.

Casper College students will gain a broad range of experience with options for specialized training:

  • Kinesiology and health promotion majors can choose from several degree track options, including coaching, personal training, health, and sport nutrition.
  • Complete coursework and prepare for the personal training certification exam.
  • Complete coursework and prepare for the coaching certification exam.
  • Take a variety of fitness and strength training courses.
  • Take courses in areas of special interest such as rock climbing, yoga, bowling, trap shooting, scuba diving, golf, and many others.
  • Gain access to a modern fitness center that offers machines for cardiovascular training and equipment for weight conditioning.

  • Personal and Community Health
  • American Heart Association Heart Saver First Aid, CPR, and AED
  • Introduction to Physical Education and Sport
  • Motor Learning
  • Human Anatomy
  • Human Anatomy Lab

Students also have the option of additional courses in areas of specialization such as:
