Job Summary and Responsibilities:
Krohmer Plumbing is looking to hire a Project Manager for our Sioux Falls office. We are a plumbing and mechanical contractor with offices in Sioux Falls and Mitchell. We are one of the largest contractors in the area with 125 team members, and we’re looking for another person to join the team.
The Project Manager provides overall management direction to multiple projects from start to finish. This position is responsible for the daily management, coordination, and oversight of projects including successful planning, execution, and closure.
Essential Job Functions:
Represent Krohmer Plumbing in a professional manner
Communicate with customers and general contractors
Manage all pre-construction activities
Plan and analyze assigned projects
Establish schedules and manpower requirements
Oversee material and equipment purchases
Determine the necessary equipment needed to complete the project
Manage subcontractors
Attend pre-construction and onsite meetings
Regular site visits
Develop strong relationships with customers, owners, and general contractors
Other duties assigned
Required Skills:
Competent, responsible, organized, and team-oriented
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to follow instructions
Mechanically inclined
Ability to work independently and with others to meet performance goals
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
