Job Summary and Responsibilities:
Summary: Continuing Education serves a diverse population of non-traditional students from
those seeking professional certifications to community members seeking classes for personal
enrichment. Additional employment is available for the summer for 40 hours/week. We provide
flexibility in scheduling, but require dependability with time management.
Reports To: Chelse DePaolo-Lara, Director of Adult Education and Lifelong Learning
Assistance with field trips, camps, and set up for events/classes. This includes Zoom
facilitation along with audio-visual support for the OLLI program.
Office and computer tasks, register Continuing Education students, greet and assist
students, make copies, file, place/answer phone calls, and reply/send emails.
On campus errands.
Printing mailing labels and nametags via Microsoft Word and Excel.
Clean and organize as needed.
Other tasks as assigned.
Degree-seeking student, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at CC or a partnership institution. Requirements/Expectations:
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
Basic computer knowledge: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google platform.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on some occasions
Ability to balance life/school/work.
Dependability and excellent time management skills.
Degree-seeking student, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at CC or a partnership
Must be in good academic standing, with a preferred cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above
