Job Summary and Responsibilities:
This work-study position is most often unsupervised, so a strong work ethic, ability to stay on task, and dependability are vital. The Music Librarian works directly with music faculty to catalog new music scores in the database and in the physical library, scan and copy scores needed for ensembles, organize and file music, and maintain library organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree-seeking student, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at CC or a partnership institution. Music knowledge required. Clerical experience desired: organizational skills, computer skills including accurate typing. Must possess the ability to take direction, have good time management, be task oriented, dependable, and take initiative when unsupervised.
