Rise & Reach: A Leadership Challenge

YOUR ADVENTURE AWAITS

The Casper College Honors Program is heading to Fort Collins for a ropes course leadership retreat during the third week in September.

Get ready for a day of climbing, team challenges, and big laughs as we test our balance, build trust, and push ourselves higher (literally!). This is your chance to connect with fellow honors students, make memories, and maybe even conquer a fear or two.

Location: We’ll drive you from Casper College to the Mountain Campus challenge course in Fort Collins

Date: Leave Friday, Sept. 26, and return Saturday, Sept. 27. Your lodging and meals will be covered by the Honors Program as well the enrollment fee for the Mountain Campus course.

What to bring: For those honors students who attend, bring your sense of adventure, comfortable clothes, and plenty of energy. Snacks and fun are on us—bravery is on you!

BECOME A STUDENT LEADER

To apply, email letter of recommendation to Honors Director Daniel Gallegos at daniel.gallegos.edu.

The letter should be written by from someone familiar with you and your work ethic and personality such as an Advisor, Teacher, Religious Leader, Employer, or Leadership from a volunteer organization; no family members or friends are allowed.

Daniel would also like to ask you to please email a short introduction video of yourself. Use your imagination and creativity. Speak about your personality talents, why you would make a good member of the Honors Program, and why you should be selected.

Honors students must be enrolled in a required one-credit class, be a full time Casper College student and maintain at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA. Student must participate in one Honors Activity and Community service project per semester.
