Public Invited To Nolte Retirement Reception

The public is invited to attend a retirement reception hosted by the Casper College Board of Trustees for Casper College President Walter Nolte on Friday, May 8, from 3-6 p.m. in and around the Chapman Lobby. A special presentation will take place at 4 p.m.

The May edition of the Tate Geological Museum’s Saturday Club will look at “how and why volcanoes form, and look at examples of the different kinds of volcanoes here on earth,” said Russell Hawley. The free event will take place on Saturday, May 2 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

At Casper College, distance education enrollment accounts for 25 percent of the total full-time equivalent (FTE) student numbers and it continues to grow. The Casper College Distance Education program has added three new online degrees to its existing five online degrees within the last academic year. The eight degrees are accounting, general studies, general agriculture, hospitality, agribusiness, computer science, early childhood education, and fire science.
