Casper College volleyball offers two exciting camps for girls

Casper College volleyball is offering two exciting camps for girls in June. Taught by Angel Sharman, head coach, and Kelly Wiedemann, assistant coach, the camps are the T-Bird Youth Volleyball Camp and the Thunderbird Volleyball Elite Camp.
The T-Bird Youth Volleyball Camp will feature three sessions and run June 8-10. The first session is for girls in third and fourth grade and will run from 10 a.m. to noon. The second session is for girls in fifth and sixth grade and will run from 1 to 3 p.m. The final session is for girls in seventh through 10th grade and will run from 3 to 5 p.m. “Our goal is to improve every player’s ‘all-around’ game, focusing on the core pillars of volleyball success,” said Sharman.
The Thunderbird Volleyball Elite Camp will run June 11 and 12. Four training sessions will be held: On June 11, setting from 10 a.m. to noon and attacking from 2 to 4 p.m. On June 12, passing from 8 to 10 a.m. and defense from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. “This camp is specifically designed for ninth through 12th-grade players who want to master the technical and tactical aspects of the game,” Sharman said. “To ensure a high-intensity environment and maximum repetitions, we have strictly limited each session to 25 participants,” she added.
The cost for the T-Bird Youth Volleyball Camp is $85 in cash or by check and $90 by credit card. The cost for each session of the Thunderbird Volleyball Elite Camp is $40 in cash or by check and $45 by credit card. The cost for all four sessions is $140 in cash or by check and $145 by credit card. Each participant in both camps will receive a camp T-shirt.
