The Wheeler Concert Hall will host music ranging from the Renaissance to the 21st century to be performed during the Large Ensembles Concert at Casper College Friday, Nov. 22, at 7 p.m.

The free concert features the Casper College Concert Band and the Casper College Collegiate Chorale. “Together, these two ensembles will be performing a wide range of music and feature compositions from composers such as Randall Thompson, Kimberly K. Archer, David Maslanka, and others,” said Joshua R. Mietz, DMA, music instructor. The concert will also feature the two groups combining to perform a new arrangement of Gustav Holst’s “Second Suite.”

The Casper College Concert Band is directed by Mietz, and the Casper College Collegiate Chorale is directed by Zachary Vreeman, DMA, choral instructor.

Both the Casper College Concert Band and the Casper College Collegiate Chorale are open to anyone in the community. For more information, contact Mietz at joshuamietz@caspercollege.edu or Vreeman at zvreeman@caspercollege.edu.
