Western Agriculture has ‘Bright Future’

Jerry Hawkes, Ph.D., will present “Western Agriculture, a Bright Economic Future” at the April Werner Museum Wildlife Study Series on Thursday, April 18 beginning at 7 p.m.

Hawkes, dean for the School of Science at Casper College, is an agricultural economist with more than 30 years spent as a teacher and researcher. His research efforts have revolved around production economics, and during his career, he has published over 150 journal articles, extension publications, and experiment station bulletins relative to Western production agriculture economics.
