The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Casper College recently changed its membership to yearly. The change means that memberships for an individual season –  spring, summer, and fall – are no longer offered.

The cost of a year-long membership has remained the same: $60 per person. For $60, members still receive five complimentary classes. However, those five complimentary classes can now be used in any semester within the calendar year for which a person has purchased their one-year membership, said Jeaneece Schmidt, lifelong learning specialist.

According to Schmidt, the revised membership program eliminates the need for individual semester memberships and allows members more flexibility. “If you decide to take all five complimentary classes in one semester, then you will only pay the standard class tuition of $12 for any other OLLI classes you take during the rest of the calendar year, plus any fees associated with that class,” Schmidt noted. OLLI memberships can be purchased at any time of the year without a loss of the five complimentary classes through the calendar year.

Registrations are still ongoing for the summer semester. Thirty-six classes are being offered for the summer, both during the day and at night, including some day trips to local businesses and historic locations.

To register or view the summer schedule, go to https://caspercollege.augusoft.net or contact Schmidt at 307-268-2099 or Vicki Pollock, lifelong learning specialist, at 307-268-2097 or email both at olli@caspercollege.edu.
