Wheeler Named as College’s May Employee

Brett Wheeler has been named as the Employee of the Month at Casper College for May 2018.

Wheeler, who works in the college’s physical plant as a campus services I employee, has been working at the college since October 2016.

Wheeler was nominated by Jason Finkle, campus services crew leader. “Brett’s commitment to provide excellent service to the campus was evident from the day he started. He is constantly asking how we can improve our process, he does not shy away from large and difficult projects and has never once said ‘That’s not our job,’” said Finkle.

“Brett is always punctual and conscientious when it comes to setting up for our Osher Lifelong Learning Institute events of which there are many. He pays attention to detail and always asks questions if our instructions are unclear on the work order,” said Vicki Pollock, lifelong learning specialist. “Brett Wheeler is one of the people who make Casper College a great place to work,” she added.

The employee of the month is selected from nominations received by a selection committee and is based on a nomination and rating form with at least one letter of support.
