Casper College would like to thank our men and women of the armed forces and their family members for all they do. We are here to work with you to set your educational goals to expand career advancement in the military or during transition from military service to civilian life.


Veterans or service members should follow the requirements and procedures for APPLYING as a degree seeking student to Casper College.

Joint Service Transcripts

We do our best here at Casper College to look at your military service and apply that for credit. These determinations are made in a case by case basis. If you don't have your JST's you can order them here.

If you want to have your transcripts reviewed you can attach them to your application.  Keep in mind, once your JST's have been reviewed and applied for credit, we can't take them back. This can sometimes affect GI Bill benefits down the road.  If you want your JST's reviewed, please fill out this authorization and send it to 

Federal Aid and Scholarships

Complete the Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) – FAFSA needs to be renewed every year you are going working on your undergraduate degree.

Apply online for Casper College scholarships that are specific to your major and for Veterans.

VA Work-Study Allowance - If you're a full-time or 3/4-time student in a college degree, vocational, or professional program, you can “earn while you learn” with a VA work-study allowance. You’ll earn an hourly wage equal to the Federal minimum wage or your State minimum wage, whichever is greater.

Yellow Ribbon Program

Casper College is proud to be a participant with the VA Yellow Ribbon Program. Casper College is the first public institution in Wyoming offering this additional support to possible out of state Veterans.

Casper College Veterans Center

The Campus Veterans Center is located in the Goodstein Library Room 108. Open Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. 

Casper College Veterans Club

A student-lead organization has developed a Campus Veterans Center. The Veterans Club hosts different veterans services each week on campus to assist veterans, service members and dependents.

Peer Advisors for Veterans Education (PAVE)

We are committed to the academic success of our military affiliated students. Casper College is the only instition in Wyoming a part of the PAVE program. 

PAVE is a peer support program that connects incoming student veterans on college campuses with student veterans who are trained as Peer Advisors who can help them navigate college life, address challenges they may face, refer them to appropriate resources on and off-campus, and provide ongoing support.
