Music Performance

Receive the solid foundation vital for success in music and in your academic studies through the Associate of Fine Arts (A.F.A.) in Music program at Casper College.

What are the features of Casper’s program?

The Music A.F.A. degree program prepares students for transfer into bachelor’s degree programs in music — whether B.M., B.A., B.F.A. or B.M.E. — at four-year colleges, universities and music conservatories.

Dedicated faculty members are professional musicians who provide individual lessons and small group performance classes. Be challenged and supported by high-quality instruction and personal attention as you progress in musicianship and performance. You will gain knowledge in music theory and music history. You will also develop your talents in solo recitals and ensemble concerts learning from professional musicians in master classes, recitals and ensemble performances.

As a music student at Casper College, you’ll be joining a half-century tradition of opportunity and excellence. Undoubtedly, you will enjoy the exceptionally beautiful music building, where every detail was implemented to ensure a real-world music experience for you. The acoustically tuned rehearsal spaces around the perimeter of the building are well equipped, and the gorgeous Wheeler Concert Hall is one of the most beautiful and vibrant performance spaces you may encounter. Faculty are highly qualified and dedicated to providing the foundation for intelligent and communicative music making.

“I am a more confident person today because I decided to play music. I am naturally a shy person, an introvert, but now feel more comfortable speaking or presenting before groups because I have performed on stage,” says Casper College graduate Kit Robertson.
