The Casper College Community Education Department is offering a class on make-ahead meals that will be offered on four different days.

Taught by Karla Case, RD, LD, “Make-Ahead Meals” will inspire participants to plan and make-ahead easy and healthy meals that fit into a busy weekday schedule, according to Laura Ryan, community education specialist.

Participants will learn about meal planning and preparation while they prepare five to six meals to take home and freeze during the two-hour class. The hands-on class will be offered on Tuesday, Jan. 23, Wednesday, Jan. 31, Thursday, Feb. 8, and Thursday, Feb. 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The cost per person is $65, “which is less than $11 for each meal prepared during the class,” noted Ryan. Seating for each session is limited.
