Casper College Students Nominated to Academic Team

Two Casper College students, Alexandria Eckhart and Tori Pike, were recently named to the Wyoming All-State Community College Academic Team.

To qualify for the nomination, all students must be a member of their local Phi Theta Kappa chapter, and demonstrate academic excellence and intellectual rigor combined with leadership and service that extends their education beyond the classroom to benefit society. “This is the first time that we have had students fill out this application and been selected for this recognition. I congratulate Addy and Tori for their commitment to follow through with this project, as there were five others who began but did not complete it,” said Debra Swedberg, instructor and PTK sponsor at Casper College

PTK, community college presidents, and community college state associations sponsor the All-State Community College Academic Team in 38 participating states. Wyoming has been participating in the All-State Community College Academic Team since 2013.
