Casper College seeks an experienced financial professional with superior analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills who will enthusiastically support the college’s mission, unique identity, and vision for the future. He or she must think strategically, possess a broad institutional perspective, and have excellent finance and budgeting skills. The ideal candidate will have senior financial management experience in a similarly complex environment. Preference will be given to candidates who have proven experience as a senior leader managing financial and administrative operations in settings of substantial scale and complexity in higher education. Candidates with comparable experience in private enterprise will also be considered.
The candidate’s background must include the following: an undergraduate degree in business, finance, or related field; a strong record of accomplishments related to the position description above; outstanding written and oral communication skills; a collaborative leadership style that includes strong team-building skills; and a commitment to the mission of the college and serving students. Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree in a related field (such as an MBA), experience working in academe, CPA designation, and experience planning and overseeing capital projects.
