VP Announcement

Primary Duties:

  • Supervise accounting, budget control, purchasing, shipping and receiving, inventory control, payroll, human resources and central duplicating.
  • Supervise plant operations and maintenance
  • Supervise outsourcing of auxiliary enterprises, including bookstore and food service
  • Provide financial analysis and budget reports to the Board of Trustees and President
  • Collaborate with other administrators, faculty, staff, and students to meet the mission, goals, and objectives of Casper College
  • Develop and implement a plan for the long-term financial strength of the college.
  • Act as a member of the Casper College Foundation Board, the Casper College Board of Trustees Finance Committee and serve as the Assistant Treasurer to the Casper College Board of Trustees
  • Represent Casper College at meetings, conferences, and public events which are deemed to be of value to the college
  • Serve as an ex-officio member or guest of all committees, meetings, organizations, or public gatherings held by students, college employees or by the public in college facilities
  • Provide constant monitoring and modification of the budget throughout the fiscal year
  • Monitor and control budget expenditures
  • Assure the college’s fiscal compliance to all applicable procedures, regulations, and laws
  • Assure monitoring and control of all federal grants and other restricted accounts
  • Provide facilities master plan oversight and plan, budget, and coordinate future construction and modifications
  • Develop a debt-management policy and manage short-term credit and long-term financing as may be necessary to provide adequate resources for operations and plant additions
  • Manage cash flow for operating and endowment purposes
  • Develop and implement a risk management program and insurance program to protect the interests of the college and various constituencies
  • Develop and manage policies and procedures to protect the college’s assets
  • Maintain relationships with institutional vendors and financial service providers
