Founded in 1945, Casper College is Wyoming’s oldest and most comprehensive two-year community college. The college serves 1900 full-time and 2220 part-time students. Casper College has 170 full-time and 120 part-time faculty members and a $44 million operating and auxiliary budget. The college has developed a national reputation for its academic standards and outstanding career programs.

Offerings include nearly 100 degree, technical and career programs. The college’s 28 buildings on more than 200 acres overlook the city of Casper. The college has joint agreements with the University of Wyoming and several other universities. The University of Wyoming/Casper College Center (UW/CC) offers 15 bachelor and 13 graduate programs to approximately 400 students each semester.

The Casper area has a population of 60,000+ and is located in central Wyoming. Exciting recreational opportunities are available in the immediate area as well as the Rocky Mountains. Casper and Wyoming are currently reaping the benefits of a strong economy and a low unemployment rate, partially driven by the energy industry. The strong economy has provided outstanding K-12 schools, a first-rate regional medical center, and abundant employment opportunities in nearly every field.

The college has a strong record of fiscal management and performance, a growing endowment, continuous growth in inquiries and applications, and an excellent physical plant. Program development, institutional expansion, and building construction have been guided by a strategic plan and a recently developed Campus Master Plan. The college remains poised for continued dynamic growth.
