Tickets for the dance concert, which is being billed as “an evening of laughter and poignancy through movement-dance“ by Jodi Youmans-Jones, will go on sale Monday, April 16 for theatre patrons only, and on Monday, April 23 for the general public.
“Americans move, we dance, we express ourselves physically in many ways. As Americans we also all have a passion towards our choices, our ideas, and our way of life … our freedoms. This concert takes a look at those passions by stepping into an average day in an average family. Our ‘freedoms’ can be very funny and ridiculous. They also can be full of conviction, which can also be … very funny,” noted Youmans-Jones, choreographer and director of the show.
