Our program at Casper College strives to offer the most comprehensive instructional welding program in Wyoming and the region. The goal of the program is to provide the industry with tomorrow's technology today.

Students are exposed to a broad spectrum of career opportunities to ensure graduates a rewarding career in the field of welding and joining. The industry provides instructors with a variety of challenges, which in turn allows the faculty to create a flexible work environment and new curricula for students.
Instructors provide positive support, professional skill development and job-placement assistance. Their experience in multiple industry welding operations, welding inspection across the United States, certification through the American Welding Society, and the most recent educational instructional experience all contribute to students' development.

The instructors cover the latest techniques in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), automated submerged arc welding and plasma applications.Simulating job-related situations, students test their skills during classroom exercises and undergo practical testing in accordance with today's codes and standards. Casper College welding students are exposed to nearly all of Wyoming's supporting industries.
