ORBITERS, SATELLITES, ROVERS TOPIC OF CLASS
A class exploring orbiters, satellites, and rovers will be topics of the new Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Casper College class, “Out of this World III.”
“We continue to offer classes on space exploration and the universe due to the popularity of the class and instructor,” said Vicki Pollock, lifelong learning specialist for OLLI at Casper College. Pollock added that participants need not have taken the previous “Out of this World” classes to enjoy “Out of this World III.”
Andrew Young, Casper College physics instructor, will again lead the class, which will be held at the Casper Planetarium on Fridays, from 4 to 5 p.m. September 13 through October 11.
In addition to the space equipment, Young will also cover the space mission developments from 2001 to the present, according to Pollock.
The registration deadline for “Out of this World III” is Tuesday, Sept. 10. For more information or to register, contact Pollock at 307-268-2097.
