“God, Gays, Guns, and Gandhi: Let’s Talk Diversity!” Topic of Talk

Diversity expert Terri C. Houston will present “God, Gays, Guns, and Gandhi: Let’s Talk Diversity!” on Thursday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. at Casper College.

During her presentation, Houston will share insightful thoughts about learning how to talk to and with each other.

 “Dr. King said, ‘The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.’ As we live history each day,” said Houston, “we must ask individually and communally, where do I stand and what do WE stand for?”

According to her biography, Houston has more than 30 years of public and private sector experience helping countless universities, nonprofits, and businesses build strong, inclusive organizations, and she has assisted thousands in finding their purpose and visions.

Houston’s presentation is free and open to the public and will take place in the Wheeler Concert Hall in the Music Building on the Casper College campus.
