Veritas students take four interdisciplinary seminars during the course of their program. These small, interactive honors-only classes feature timely and relevant topics of concern to American society and the world. Exploring such issues as what it means to be an American, totalitarianism and the nature of evil, as well as the search for truth in the sciences and humanities, these seminars are taught by exceptionally well trained teacher/scholars who love both learning and teaching equally, thus providing an entirely unique experience for their students.
In addition, each student completes a capstone independent research project with an honors professor of her or his choice. This allows you to pursue a topic of special interest in depth under the guidance of a knowledgeable and caring mentor.
