The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to nursing students. The Selection Advisory Committee considers a student's academic record and achievement, as well as a willingness to work in a nursing capacity in Wyoming after the completion of education. Proof of acceptance must accompany the application. Applicants should have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Number and Duration of Awards: Up to $4,000 will be awarded each year to one or more recipients. A recipient may be enrolled as either a full-time or part-time student throughout each term. Summer school attendance is not required, but would be considered a plus. Deadline is April 28, however applications will be accepted throughout the year. Successful candidates will be notified, informing him/her of the grant award amount. In addition to the completed application, a transcript of credits and proof that you have been accepted into an accredited Nursing Degree program is required.
