The Scott Shafer Memorial Aviation Scholarship will be awarded to a Casper College student who wants a career in aviation. Applicants must carry at least 12 credit hours per semester (full-time student) and have already received their private pilot license. Applicants must also have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5. Need will be a factor, and each applicant will be asked to submit a statement of need which tells of their need for financial assistance in regards to attending college. Applicants must also submit a three paragraph essay describing their goals and objectives. Award is for two semesters. GPA must be maintained to be eligible for second semester.
