Scholarships are made available each year to graduates of an accredited high school in the Irwins' home county, Converse County. The primary criteria for selection is academic proficiency. Financial need is considered, particularly in determining the amount of each award. There are no restrictions on the applicant's anticipated field of study. First preference is given to those students that will graduate in May/June prior to the beginning of the Fall semester. Selection will be made without regard to sex, religion, ethic origin, political creed, or any other such factor. If selected, the recipient must be a degree seeking, full time student at Casper College during the period of the award.
