Students can earn college credit while traveling around Europe and “doing their own thing.” 

Casper College (an accredited 60 year-old college in Wyoming, USA) offers a variety of 3-credit, distance education classes.  Contact the individual teachers by e-mail for a course description and requirements.

  • The Art and Architecture of the Renaissance and Baroque Era
    (mostly in southern Europe, particularly Italy)

    (includes reading Victorian women’s travel journals)

    (concentrates primarily on writers from the modernist movement)

To register for classes, go to the Casper College homepage;
On the right, click on “Distance Education.” 
In the tan area on the right, click on “Registration.” 
In the section  entitled “Choose Course”; 
continue to the Non-degree Seeking Student section and click on the Registration form.
Complete the form and return it via e-mail or fax.
