ENTREPRENEUR JENNIFER ROGERS-ETCHEVERRY BUSINESS ENRICHMENT SPEAKER
Jennifer Rogers-Etcheverry, owner of My Husband’s Nuts, will be the presenter at this year’s Casper College Business Enrichment 2012 on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012.
Rogers-Etcheverry began her small family-owed business in December 2002. After several years of financial difficulties on her husband’s farm and during one of her many conversations with her husband, Mark, Rogers-Etcheverry jokingly responded, “ What do I have to do? Sell your nuts for you?” Shortly thereafter her company, My Husband’s Nuts was created.
The successful company based in Bakersfield, Calif. specializes in seasoned and candied almonds, including butter toffee, natural smoke, onion garlic, and chili con lemon. Raw almonds are also available for purchase. My Husband’s Nuts – California Almonds Fresh from the Farmer’s Wife can now be found at countless stores across the country and can also be purchased directly from the My Husband’s Nuts website. As president of the company, Rogers-Etcheverry travels nationally speaking about women entrepreneurism and her family heritage. She is the great-granddaughter of cowboy and humorist Will Rogers.
Rogers-Etchverry’s presentation will begin at 7 p.m. in Durham Recital Hall, located in the Aley Fine Arts Center on the Casper College campus. Light refreshments will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m. Both the refreshments and presentation are free and open to the public.
