The training activities of the following hazardous materials classes are potentially stressful. Participants are required to wear a fully encapsulated suit, a self-contained breathing apparatus, and a full-face mask. The gear may weigh up to 45 pounds. Participants must perform hands-on activities with special emphasis on conditions involving pulmonary, cardiovascular, and musculoskeletal systems. Casper College offers the 8-Hour MSHA Refresher and the 24-Hour MSHA New-Miner Training class every month. Call 268-2085 for further information.
