The Social and Behavioral Sciences Division is large and diverse. It focuses on the human aspect of education. Its many departments can be grouped into three general areas. The Social Sciences include: Anthropology, Criminal Justice, Economics, Forensic Science, History, International Studies, Paralegal Studies, Political Science, Pre-Law, Psychology, Social Work and Sociology. The Behavioral Sciences include: Addictionology and Psychology. Education includes Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Secondary Education, and Para Professional.
Some of our students go directly into the work force but most will want to complete a bachelor’s after completing their associate degree at Casper College. Students in other divisions often take elective courses in our division to broaden their understanding of themselves and our society.
Graduates from our division go into many different careers. They include private and public sector jobs in business, law, teaching, counseling, and more.
