Start of semester "Get Ready" Checklist for Moodle4Me Courses
- Create a course backup, download it to your computer and the delete the backup file from your previous semester Moodle shell. Handout
- Download your gradebook to Excel and save to your computer. To do this,
- Click on Grades from the main course page
- Click on the LAE Grader Report link
- Click on the green Copy to Excel button loacted above the students names
- Select "Save File" and click the OK button
- Browse to a chosen location on your computer and rename the file if needed
- Click the Save button
- Request metacourses (multisection) or other web-enhanced Moodle shells by submitting the Course Request Form located at the DE site > Faculty Resources tab. All course sections are automatically created daily as the information becomes available from Datatel.

Note: When moving content from one course to another, it is recommended to use the Backup / Restore process. Backup / Restore allows you to selectively bring content across (remember to unselect "User Data") and either add to or replace current course content in the target course.
DO NOT RESTORE ANY USER DATA INTO THE NEW COURSE.

- Check and organize your content as needed. Remember to change due dates in all your activities, replace your syllabus, and make your courses available to students (click for instructions)
