With great excitement, I joined the Casper College Math department in August of 2013. Prior to this transition, I taught math courses at Kelly Walsh High School for 16 years. In 2004, I was awarded the Presidential Award for Excellence and Math Science teaching and in 2013 I was selected as a member of Project ACCCESS through AMAYTC. I enjoy working with students transitioning from high school mathematics into college level courses and especially those interested in pursuing an elementary teaching career.
I teach the following subjects: EDEL 1410 (Theory I Seminar: Education), MATH 0920 (Elementary Algebra), MATH 0924 (Pre-Algebra and Beginning Algebra), MATH 1000 (Problem Solving), and MATH 1100 (Number and Operations for Elementary School Teachers).
My husband is a weightlifting coach and football coach at Kelly Walsh High School so you will typically find me in the football stadium on Friday nights cheering for the green and gold. We also faithfully cheer for the Green Bay Packers and for any team playing against Denver. I love to golf, bike, ski and spend time with my two children.
