Russell E. Rauchfuss has been an instructor of evidence, criminal procedure, criminal law, business law, commercial law, entrepreneurship, business law and governmental regulations at Casper College since 1975. Mr. Rauchfuss received a B.S. degree in Business Administration in 1971 and a J. D. degree from the University of Wyoming in 1974. Mr. Rauchfuss was admitted into State and Federal practice for Wyoming in 1974, was a sole practitioner from 1974 through 1981, a founding partner in Beech Street Law Offices from 1982 until 2000, and of counsel with Chapman Valdez in Casper, Wyoming, from 2000 until present. Mr. Rauchfuss taught the laws of evidence at the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy from 1977 until 2007. Mr. Rauchfuss served as Town and Prosecuting Attorney for the Town of Evansville, Wyoming from 1975 to 1987 and from 1997 to 2003. He served as a Commissioner for Natrona County Court from 1978 to 1983. Mr. Rauchfuss is a member of the Wyoming Bar Association, Natrona County Bar Association, the National Association of Community College Entrepreneurs, and the National Business Incubator Association. He has served as an expert witness in sexual harassment cases in U.S. District Court and in corporate and limited liability company issues in Wyoming District Court.
