A Casper native, Roberta joined the Casper College School of Business and Industry in June of 2008 as Director of the Flex Lab. She spent several years working outside the teaching realm before pursuing her teaching aspirations. With work experience in an educational setting, government agencies, a financial institution and oilfield settings she has a variety of practical experience that serves her well in the classroom.

Before coming to Casper College Roberta taught for Eastern Wyoming College on the Douglas Campus. For over ten years she taught computer application courses, business courses, and education courses. She was previously an adjunct instructor for Casper College as well. Her educational background includes business education, information technology with her current focus in postsecondary education. Roberta anticipates completing her doctoral work sometime in 2011.

Roberta is a proponent of lifelong learning. She has spent most of her adult life working while going to school and is a strong advocate for education. She encourages people of all ages and backgrounds to learn whether it be for academic or personal reasons.

Roberta is the Flex Lab Director and works with many students within the Computer Applications and Business Technology department.

A fair weather person, Roberta spends much of her spare time outdoors doing yard work, camping, boating, and four wheeling. She likes to travel and see new places. During the winter she likes to read books on her Sony e-reader in her spare time. She is a volunteer for Central Wyoming Hospice and the proud mother of three grown sons: Brian, Eric, and Cody.
