I have been in nursing education since 1976. I started as a part-time clinical instructor and moved up through the ranks to the director of nursing position that I assumed in 2000. As a nursing faculty member I taught medical-surgical clinical with a short experience in maternal nursing. The majority of my clinical teaching was on the surgical unit at WMC. I loved facilitating students to apply knowledge in the surgical setting. Now I am assisting nursing faculty to carry on in the roles of nurse educators.

My role in the nursing program is primarily administrative with occasional opportunities to speak in the various nursing courses.

One of the most positive experiences I have while progressing in chronological years is that of being a grandparent. My husband, Rob, and I have 4 exceptional grandchildren. We have a cabin on Casper Mountain and enjoy spending time at our getaway. Rob loves to cook and experiment with his barbeques and smokers. I enjoy bird watching, reading, and limited crocheting. Life is good and we are blessed to have each other, good jobs, wonderful families and our health!
