I started teaching nursing at Casper College in 2007. My background is in Emergency Medicine, as an EMT, Emergency Nurse and Flight Nurse. I also was the Manager of the Neurology Unit at Wyoming Medical Center for three years and worked on the Outpatient Unit. I continue to work at Wyoming Medical Center in the Emergency Department and teach various American Heart Association classes and Emergency Nurse Classes. I earned my Masters in Nursing in 2009 and am a Certified Emergency Nurse.

I teach Fundamentals of Nursing and Nursing Process I in the first semester of the nursing program. I teach in the clinical lab setting the first semester teaching the students the basic skill necessary to function as an RN. In the second semester I take students to the Medical floor to teach them in the clinical setting. In the past I have also taught a clinical rotation at a long term care facility.

I am married and have two daughters, son in law, and 2 wonderful grandchildren. I am involved with the Job’s Daughters of Wyoming, church, scuba diving, and also like to spend time at our family cabin.
