Two excellent museums on the Casper College campus await community members, researchers, school groups and other visitors. The Tate Geological Museum was selected as one of Money Magazine's best natural history museums in the country. The Werner Wildlife Museum was recently remodeled, and features specimens from throughout Wyoming and the world, including some found few other places.

The Casper College Greenhouse in the Loftin Life Science Center sometimes functions as a museum. When not in use by biology and ecology classes, the greenhouse welcomes visitors. Highlighted by a gorgeous collection of cacti, the greenhouse also is home to some friendly turtles and birds.

While not a museum, the Special Collections division of the Goodstein Foundation Library is an outstanding resource for those researching the history of Wyoming.
