In 2003, Casper College celebrated the grand re-opening of the Gertrude Krampert Theatre. “Under One Roof” was a project which resulted in the renovation of the popular building and the addition of 30,000 square feet, including the beautiful Barbara and Leland Scifers dance studio. Three months later the college unveiled the renovated College Center building, which was later named in honor of LeRoy Strausner.
Since its inception, the Casper College Foundation has made projects like these possible. Thanks to countless benefactors and friends, the foundation plays a critical role in the growth and development of Casper College, funding numerous scholarships, spearheading development campaigns for projects like the Krampert Theatre, and supporting events such as the Kinser Memorial Jazz Festival and the Zimmerman Lecture Series. From computer equipment and supplies to travel, students and faculty benefit from the foundation’s commitment to Casper College and its mission.
Incorporated in 1962, the foundation’s purpose is to provide a legal, non-profit corporation through which benefactors can help Casper College. Gifts to the foundation, in the form of cash or other assets, are tax exempt.
