An annual fundraiser is held to enable the alumni association to provide assistance to future students and to support extra-curricular activities and college projects. In 2002 the alumni association board pledged $100,000 to the Krampert Theatre addition/renovation project. For this donation the new Krampert Theatre Lobby was named the Alumni Lobby and a plaque has been erected listing all donor names. The 2005-2009 fundraiser campaigns will focus on the state matching funds. In 2004 the Wyoming State Legislature voted to set aside money and challenged each of the seven Wyoming community colleges to raise $4.5 million over the next five years. Donations given during this period double in value and enable the colleges to remain strong in the future. Annual fundraiser cards are sent in May.
