2010 :: Homecoming Chili Feed Once again, the alumni association board of directors served chili to folks attending the Homecoming basketball games. Thirty-five gallons of chili disappeared in record time while people enjoyed great basketball and the T-Birds prevailed over Western Wyoming Community College. Over $300 was raised by a 50-50 raffle to support alumni association projects and a few lucky fans won special door prizes. The alumni association also donated two iPod shuffles for a “students only” door prize. |

2009 :: Alumni and Friends Banquet The 2009 Alumni and Friends Banquet marked the 20th anniversary of the Casper College Alumni Association. A large group gathered to enjoy great music by the Casper Men’s Choir, bid on silent auction items created by CC faculty and staff, and share memories. Diana Ohman was honored as the 2009 Distinguished Alumna. Ohman is a 1970 graduate of Casper College and serves as director of the Department of Defense schools in the Pacific and Asia. She is a former Wyoming Secretary of State. Jack Romanek, former Director of the Casper College Student Center received the 2009 Commitment to Excellence award for his years of service to Casper College. |

2009 :: Thermopolis Regional Alumni Event The Casper College Alumni Association took to the road visiting Thermopolis, Wyoming for Pageant Days, August 1, 2009. Local alumni hosted a reception where they mingled with friends from afar, including Casper, Riverton, and Colorado. People enjoyed the craft fair and food booths in the park, as well as the Gift of the Waters Pageant. Casper College President Walt Nolte updated people about campus expansion plans and former CC President LeRoy Strausner shared his memories of growing up in Thermopolis. |
